Zoom Arbitration Webinar Replay

To skip the technical difficulties, We recommend that you start this session at 5:42.

The dynamics and outcomes of online arbitrations can be very different from in-person hearings. Our “lessons learned” from four panelists — who possess first-hand experience in FINRA arbitrations conducted on Zoom — are designed to help counsel prepare for, and conduct effective arbitrations in a “virtual” environment. As long as social distancing remains a factor in the business world, this information and these practical skills will be invaluable.

Response to this webinar — from more than 200 legal professionals — suggests not only that there is significant immediate interest in this topic, but also that many believe online proceedings are likely to become a standard practice. In that regard, CFI believes that the genie is out of the bottle, and online arbitrations are here to stay.

Our apologies with regard to the technical difficulties during the first 5 minutes of the session, which was affected by the large number of participants logging in. We recommend that you begin the session at 5:42. As two of our panelists pointed out…the initial glitch was a great example of what to be prepared for when technology is involved in an online arbitration. We could not have staged a better real-time example.

We welcome any comments you might have regarding this video, as well as suggestions for topics for upcoming webinar sessions.

Thank you for watching.
