ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Capital Forensics, Inc. (CFI) announced today that Henry R. Ferguson, founder and current president of Florida-based H.R. Ferguson Financial Consultants LLC, will join the firm as a Director, providing expert witness and consulting services to CFI’s client base, which includes a broad range of financial services firms, FORTUNE 500 companies, and their outside advisors.

Mr. Ferguson has more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry, both as a highly respected consultant and in senior management positions at a number of well-known firms, including Director of Options Trading at Oppenheimer & Co., as well as senior sales and marketing roles at Dean Witter & Co., Sutro & Co., and the New York Futures Exchange. He currently serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the National Futures Association (NFA).

Over the course of his career, Mr. Ferguson has testified and consulted as an expert in various state, regulatory and professional forums on a broad range of subjects, including suitability, churning, margin, anti-money laundering (AML) and account supervision, among others. In addition to traditional asset classes, he also possesses a depth of knowledge in financial derivatives, such as options, futures, foreign exchange, and other capital markets instruments.  He has been retained by financial firms to conduct internal investigations; and has testified in proceedings at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
